Believe it or not, we did do some things in France that weren't food-centric. (I said "some" not "a lot".)
Since I've already been to most of the heavy hitters of the Paris museum circuit on previous trips, I wanted to check out some lesser-known, or at least less-touristed, museums. We started with the Musée des Arts et Métiers, which has its very own steampunk metro station. The museum's focus is industrial design and there are displays ranging from old scientific instruments like the first calculator to giant supercomputers from the 80s. I was especially obsessed with said supercomputers.
There was also a short temporary exhibition that featured retro safety cartoons that I quite enjoyed.
